quick answers.
do i need a credit card for free?+
no. throwaway inboxes work with zero signup, zero card. you only enter payment details when you upgrade to a paid plan.
monthly vs yearly — what's the difference?+
same features. yearly is billed once for 12 months and saves roughly 25–30% vs paying monthly. you can switch between them anytime from billing settings.
what counts as a message?+
every inbound email delivered to one of your inboxes counts as one message. webhooks and api reads don't add to the count.
can i use my own domain?+
yes — bring your own domain on starter and above. point mx + spf + dkim records and ephemail handles the rest, including catch-all.
is there an api?+
pro and team include a full rest api plus websocket streams. use it to create inboxes, wait for messages, and extract codes or links in ci.
how long is data kept?+
free inboxes vanish in ~10 minutes. paid plans keep history from 7 days (starter) up to 1 year (team). you can delete anything earlier.
